Here are our terms and conditions. We’ve tried to keep them simple. More advice is given on our help page.
For orders to the UK there is a delivery charge for orders below £50 and free shipping for orders of £50 and above.
For international orders for addresses outside of the UK, the delivery charge varies on where the order is being shipped to and is stated at the checkout.
Velotastic will not be liable for any customs charges for orders sent outside of the UK.
Most domestic orders are sent by Royal Mail. For large and bulky items we occasionally use alternative carriers. All international orders are sent by airmail. We aim to ship all orders received by 14:30 UK time out the same day (Monday – Friday).
Please note we are a very small business (of one person most of the time) that we occasionally are closed for holidays. We will endeavour to put a notice on our homepage if we are closed.
Jersey sizing varies from manufacturer to manufacturer and country to country. For example an Italian made size XL jersey can sometimes be the same size as a US size medium.
For our new jerseys we put in the product description a guide to whether the manufacturers sizing is accurate.
Our returns and cancellation policy
We appreciate that some items are bought as presents and offer a 45 day returns period, starting from when you receive the item. We only accept items back in the same state that we sent them. This includes and garment labels being still attached as unless the item you bought is defective we will put it up for sale again.
If you wish to return and item we will only refund it if we receive it back within 45 days of you receiving it. Please don’t say you wish to return an item and then ship it back 6 months later (believe us – it’s been done !).
Please e-mail us before sending your item back, so we can look out for it.
If you wish to exchange an item please contact us so we can put a replacement item on one side.
The invoice that is sent with your goods is also your returns slip so please include a copy of this when you return an item.
Please note that unless the item is defective you will have to pay the return postage.
Any refunds will be issued once we receive any items back.
It is our responsibility to supply you with goods that meet your consumer rights. If you have any concerns that we have not met our legal obligations please contact us.
Please note that any items that are especially ordered in cannot be returned unless they are defective.
Our payment methods ?
We take payment by Paypal, Visa and Mastercard.
Our credit card payments are processed by Realex on their secure server. Realex are one of the world’s largest card processing companies and are HSBC’s preferred card payment provider in the UK.
Paypal payments are taken via Paypal’s secure server.
We take internet security seriously and our site is PCI compliant.
We also can take card payments over the telephone.
Shortages, errors and omissions
Whilst we try our hardest to ensure that all everything offer for sale is in stock and prices correctly, unfortunately we are only human and (very) occasionally errors occur. We reserve the right to cancel your order for incorrectly priced items and lines that are out of stock. Naturally we will contact you to let you know what is going on and our reasons for cancelling your order.
Should you not receive an item, please could you contact us in writing only. This will enable us to provide evidence to our carriers of non-delivery. Refunds will be issued after a full investigation which may take 3-4 weeks.
